From employee fundraising to volunteering and raising awareness of our cause, Oasis Hub Waterloo works with our dedicated corporate partners to support local people to thrive.
Last year we supported thousands of children, young people and families – providing access to vital services, from debt management and counselling services to our food bank and community groups.
Our work enables young people to access education, puts food on tables and enables anyone in the community who needs support to thrive.

JAMES’S JOURNEY TO STABILITY
James* is a resilient individual who has faced significant challenges with his mental health and struggled to secure steady employment.
James first came to Oasis Hub Waterloo burdened by almost £4,000 of debt and was surviving on just £73.10 per week from Job Seekers Allowance.
Of this, £18 had to cover a shortfall between his rent and housing benefit, leaving him with very little to meet his daily needs. With his credit card and overdraft maxed out, James turned to the hub’s Foodbank for help.
Oasis Hub Waterloo worked closely with James, helping him apply successfully for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and negotiating with his creditors.
James said, “I feel like a different person now to when I first came here. I can’t tell you how much of a difference this extra money will make to my life, I felt so hopeless before and didn’t think this could change, thank you for everything you have done.”
