Got some questions? See below for FAQs
1. I have only booked my child/ren in for a few sessions, rather than a full week. When will I be contacted to confirm dates and times they can attend?
For sports bookings, we will be making calls between Monday 19th – Friday 23rd July between 9am-5pm. Please make sure your contact details are correct and up to date so we can get in touch with you.
2. When will I get confirmation of my booking?
If your booking was made by 16th July, you’ll hear back from us by the following week. Any bookings made after Wednesday 21st July is subject to availability and will be added to our waiting list.
3. Will my child get a free packed lunch during the session?
Yes, all children between ages 5-16 will get a free packed lunch when they attend our sports activities, trips, and ceramics workshop. For Stay and Plays and other shorter workshops/drop ins some refreshments will be provided.
4. Will I need to be present for the daily sports sessions?
The sports activities are designed to include parents and careers too. Short, fun physical activity will be offered to parents / careers to join in with either at the start or the end of their child’s session. We really want adults to join in because we want to encourage children to be active because they see adults as role models too.
5. My child turns 5 during the summer period, can I still sign them up to sessions before their 5th birthday?
Yes, if your child is already in reception then they can be signed up for sessions.
6. Are all the activities free?
No, whilst all workshops and sports activities are free some of our trips require extra fee and there may be extra costs to account for such as your own travel expenses.
7. On trip days, would I need to accompany my child?
Yes, all trips are family trips and parent/guardians would need to accompany their children
8. Will lunches also be provided for parents?
Where possible, on trip days, we will aim to include packed lunches for parents. If there are any instances where this will not be possible, we will give you at least a weeks’ notice.
